Environmental Land Resource Specialist

As an Environmental Land Resource Specialist, you will be working in the Development Coordination Branch of the Northern Territory Department of Environment, Parks and Water Security.
The role involves assisting with the assessment of land clearing applications to ensure alignment with Government's commitments to managing climate change risks while building resilience in the environment.
You will provide advice to the public, industry, and other government agencies on matters relating to the management of vegetation and land resources.
Your key responsibilities will include project management, competing priorities, interpretation of legislation and regulations, and preparing quality technical reports.
In addition, you will have the ability to undertake field inspections and work effectively within a small team environment.
This is a full-time permanent position located in Palmerston, offering a competitive salary estimated at $90,000 - $110,000 per annum.
