About the Role


Brightwater Care Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our team at Onslow Gardens. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse with excellent leadership capabilities to take on a key role in ensuring high standards of clinical care to our clients.


As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the site Service Manager to promote holistic care and support to our clients, consistent with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Brightwater's Clinical Governance Framework. You will provide clinical leadership and support to a team of health professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that reflects Brightwater's Mission and Values.


The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience as a Clinical Nurse or equivalent and be currently registered with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They will also possess excellent clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, as well as leadership capability and initiative.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide clinical leadership and support to a team of health professionals
  • Work collaboratively with the site Service Manager to ensure high standards of clinical care
  • Lead and support others to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical practice and quality of care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of three years' experience as a Clinical Nurse or equivalent
  • Excellent clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Leadership capability and initiative
  • Motivation and capacity to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary model
  • Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The capability to liaise, consult and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to build successful relationships
  • Evidence of up-to-date flu vaccination and full COVID vaccination
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
  • A WA driver's licence
