About the Role

As a Footwear Supervisor at JD Sports Australia, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and KPIs, coaching and developing your team, and maintaining the visual standards of our footwear department. Your primary objective will be to ensure that your team is equipped to deliver an exceptional customer experience, resulting in increased sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales and KPIs through effective supervision of your team and daily updates to the team.
  2. Assist the management team in delivering maximum floor productivity through effective supervision of team zoning.
  3. Collaborate with the in-store Visual Merchandiser to complete weekly visual direction and ensure that the footwear department is visually appealing and well-merchandised.
  4. Assist in the induction training of new team members and ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  5. Adhere to expectations set by management to achieve department priorities and drive a world-class shopping experience for JD Sports customers.
  6. Supervise your team to ensure that they are providing exceptional customer service and are equipped to handle customer queries and complaints.
  7. Lead by example and ensure that your supervisor presence is felt on the sales floor, coaching and motivating your team to achieve their best.
  8. Supervise department replenishment to ensure that the footwear department is always fully stocked and ready for customers.
  9. Supervise floor coverage to minimize the risk of external theft and ensure that the sales floor is secure and well-maintained.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 2 years' experience within retail or a similar industry.
  2. Passion for creating an amazing service experience and culture for our customers.
  3. Proven track record in driving and exceeding set KPIs and communicating well with all stakeholders.
  4. Excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner.
