Job Description:

As a Material Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment onsite. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate inventory and materials tracking systems, ensuring materials are correctly documented, labelled, and stored in accordance with procedures, conducting regular stock takes and reporting discrepancies, liaising with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely supply of materials, coordinating the loading and unloading of freight, including use of lifting equipment where required, supporting site construction teams with material availability and planning, and promoting and maintaining safe work practices in accordance with Primero's HSE standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
  • Experience working on FIFO Mining and Resource Projects
  • Forklift Ticket – Desired
  • Telehandler Ticket – Desired
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen + National Police Check
  • Excellent Safety Awareness and Values
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently or within a team environment collaboratively
