Video Architect

This role focuses on shaping the technical architecture of our Video Editor, covering frontend and backend systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless video integration with design tools, templates, brand systems, and AI-powered features. Your work will have a direct impact on how millions of users create and engage with moving stories.
Key responsibilities include driving the evolution of the data layer, collaborating with platform teams, and championing performance through systematic measurement, optimization, and architectural improvements. Additionally, you will introduce and champion new frontend patterns and technologies, work closely with product and design to translate ambitious visions into technical roadmaps, and mentor and grow engineers across the team.
- Deep expertise in frontend architecture and data modeling, with 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven track record designing and delivering complex, interactive web applications used at global scale
- Strong proficiency with modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript), and experience architecting maintainable, scalable systems
