Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Legeneering. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our structural and piping refurbishment project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project management and coordination.
  2. Provide technical and commercial assessments of upcoming and existing projects.
  3. Review, plan, and define request for quotations.
  4. Review initial Scope of Work requirements.
  5. Independently manage the delivery of smaller projects with minimal guidance.
  6. Assist in the development of engineered structural and piping solutions.
  7. Support the development of execution Work Packs.
  8. Create Fabrication Requests and provide support to the Fabrication workshop.
  9. Provide technical support for the offshore team during installation.
  10. Ensure M1 is kept up to date with accurate information.
  11. Assess and provide priorities for the Engineering / Design Team & Workshop.
  12. Coordinate, manage, and report project operating budget.
  13. Assess technical issues, modifications, and repairs with the client.
  14. Ensure delivery targets are met by liaising directly with the client.
  15. Liaise with other Legeneering Business Units to facilitate and maximise business capacity and performance.
  16. Continuously monitor Project Schedules.
  17. Estimate time-frames and conduct risk analysis on Projects.
  18. Produce reports for senior management and/or for the client.

Requirements:

  1. Offshore Oil & Gas Operations and Maintenance site operating principles, procedures, and practices.
  2. Design & Engineering Principles (Structural & Mechanical).
  3. Lloyds / ABS Class Requirements.
  4. PMBOK Project Management principles.
  5. Risk and Hazard Management.
  6. Project Controls.
  7. QHSE Management principles.
  8. Project Management / Engineering or Trade Qualification.
  9. Experience coordinating structural and piping design and engineering project highly desirable.
  10. 2+ years' Project Management / Coordinator / Project Engineering Experience.
  11. Oil & Gas Industry background (desirable).
