Leader of Student Wellbeing and Engagement

At our school, we are committed to providing a comprehensive education that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. We are seeking an experienced leader who can promote student wellbeing and engagement.

About the Role

The Leader of Student Wellbeing and Engagement will play a key role in ensuring the promotion of student wellbeing in accordance with contemporary evidence-based principles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the highest standards of student wellbeing and learning engagement
  • Establishing and maintaining a culture of care and proactive support for students and families
  • Developing and implementing quality learning and wellbeing programs that support engagement and learning outcomes
  • Sustaining a culture of collaborative and reflective practice

The ideal candidate will be a practising Catholic with a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based engagement and learning principles. They should possess strong leadership skills, including experience in creating and leading effective professional learning and building the capacity of teachers as leaders of student engagement and wellbeing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Four-year trained teacher classification
  • At least four years successful teaching experience
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Postgraduate study in education
