Workshop Foreman Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to take on the role of Workshop Foreman at our Mt Isa location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the running of the workshop, ensuring technicians and apprentices are efficiently conducting vehicle servicing in an acceptable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise the workshop to deliver high-quality service in a safe environment
  • Mentor and train technicians and apprentices to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workshop efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the heavy vehicle sector
  • Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic with leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers
  • Highly organized and methodical with a proactive approach to work
