About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA) program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage Deferred Defects across our aircraft fleet, conducting thorough research and investigations into all defects. You will work closely with our Continuing Airworthiness Services (CAM Services) group and Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) team to ensure that fleet maintenance aligns with regulatory requirements and meets the operational needs of 34 SQN VIP Operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a solid background in aviation, holding a degree or diploma in aviation or being qualified as an AME/LAME. You will possess a strong understanding of maintenance control systems and the regulations governing aircraft maintenance. Your knowledge will extend to project management and stakeholder coordination within regulated environments, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

You will be skilled at communicating effectively across all levels of a multidisciplinary team, with hands-on experience in using aircraft scheduling and maintenance recording systems, along with the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and Access). Additionally, you will be prepared to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at baseline level.
