About the Role

We have a senior process engineering position within our process team working on design projects in the Oil and Gas industry and Energy Transition. The role on offer would suit individuals who have a strong technical background in Chemical/Process Engineering, who are prepared to take on a leadership role in the process team working with fellow Senior and Principal Engineers and the Process Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and manage process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery.
  • Proactively communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ability to manage and track single-discipline projects.
  • Write technical reports as required.
  • Prepare proposals and tenders (hours estimation and scope definition) for new and ongoing works.
  • QA role to other lead Providing technical guidance to develop junior engineers.
  • Source new clients and leverage existing relationships to promote the Process offering and drive opportunities.

  • Process Engineering degree (or equivalent) with extensive process design experience in the Oil and Gas industry / Mining and Minerals Processing industry.
  • CPEng / CEng chartered status.
  • Skills in using ASPEN Hysys and DNV Phast software.
  • Sound knowledge of process safety and the ability to apply to client operations.
  • Ability to be hands on, flexible and work autonomously on multiple projects.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to drive projects and clients' success.
  • HAZOP / LOPA Facilitator experience and accreditation desirable.
  • A mix of consulting and operational experience across would be an advantage.
