Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Educator to join our team at Goodstart Lane Cove. As a key member of our centre, you will be dedicated to providing high-quality early learning and care to children aged 0-5 years.

About the Role:

  • Maintain a safe and engaging environment for children, families, and team members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs in line with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart's policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive community.
  • Support the Centre Leadership Team in achieving the goals and objectives of the centre.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • A permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • An ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Flexible availability.
  • An interest in early years education.
  • A Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) (or be willing to receive).
