This administrative role involves managing the assessment and processing of infringement reviews of Council decisions, including customer complaints and insurance claims. Key Responsibilities:

• Make administrative infringement review decisions in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
• Ensure procedural fairness and confidentiality is applied in circumstances.
• Draft and produce correspondence.

Key Criteria:

• Experience reviewing applications and supporting evidence to make a decision.
• Interpret legislation and make technical recommendations.
• Knowledge of the Local Government Act 1989 and 2020, Infringements Act 2016, Victorian Road Rules, Domestic Animals Act and Council's General Local Laws.
• Local council experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Council policies and procedures, as well as the ability to interpret legislation and make technical recommendations. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in administrative roles, we encourage you to apply.
