Application Security Specialist
  • Embed secure development lifecycle practices into engineering teams, bridging the gap between developers and cybersecurity experts.
  • Integrate and maintain application security scanning tools across CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Synk as the primary tool.
  • Automate security testing and vulnerability management within DevOps workflows, leveraging expertise in devsecops tools and processes.
  • Conduct manual and automated security code reviews to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, requiring a strong background in programming.
  • Support cloud security uplift across multi-cloud environments with a focus on Google Cloud Platform experience.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in application security or secure software development.
  • Hands-on skills with SAST/DAST tools and integrating them into DevOps pipelines.
  • Proficiency with code vulnerability tools such as Snyk Code/SCA and classifying vulnerabilities (CVSS).
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles across the OSI stack and cloud-based environments.
