Job Title: Disability Support Worker - Wangaratta

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Wangaratta. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to live independently in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, including transfers and use of equipment.
  • Assist with domestic duties and daily living tasks.
  • Support individuals to participate in community activities and access services.
  • Work collaboratively with care teams and professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Provide transportation for individuals, using your own vehicle (reimbursed by the company).
Requirements:
  • Experience working with people with physical disabilities, including transfers and use of equipment.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Full driver's license and willingness to use your own vehicle for transportation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
