About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Manager to join our Logistics team at Amazon. As a Process Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for driving high-impact results by leading challenging, cross-functional initiatives that deliver real value for our customers and to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Manage complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality results that meet business goals.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Partner with stakeholders to secure resources, scope efforts, and set milestones to drive successful program delivery.
  3. Communication: Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership, influencing decisions without direct authority.
  4. Process Improvement: Contribute to team and organization documents (e.g., project/program requirements and roadmap, status, tenets, business reviews and operational planning).
  5. Schedule Management: Meet timelines and minimize disruption to partner teams, proactively managing schedule and risks.
  6. Decision Making: Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately.
  7. Operational Excellence: Look for opportunities to improve system quality and operational excellence.
  8. Problem Solving: Solve ambiguous problems through the application of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies such as value stream mapping, kaizen, process mapping, data collection, waste analysis, inferential statistics, hypothesis testing (Minitab) and design of experiments.
Requirements
  1. Program Management Experience: 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  2. Process Improvement Experience: 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  3. Data Analysis: Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  4. Cross-Functional Experience: Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. End-to-End Delivery Experience: 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  3. Master's Degree: Master's degree.
