Job Description

We are seeking a Casual Tech School Mentor to support the delivery of future-focused STEAM and Project-Based Learning experiences at our school. You will play a key role in engaging students with technology, fostering mentoring relationships, and supporting the daily operations of the Tech School.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to innovative educational programs, support student development, and work collaboratively in a dynamic learning environment.

The successful candidate will have high-level knowledge of digital design or digital media development, experience mentoring or coaching student-aged children, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage participants using technology and their own interests
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Encourage social connection and confidence among participants
  • Facilitate programs, games, and technical skills when requested
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Studying or completed tertiary qualifications in a STEM field

- High-level knowledge of digital design or digital media development

- Experience mentoring or coaching student-aged children

- Ability to support self-directed and project-based learning
