Speech Pathology Lead Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to lead our team in providing high-quality services to patients.

  • Provide expert Speech Pathology services across various hospital settings, including inpatients, day programs, outpatients, and NDIS participants.
  • Collaborate with the Food Services/Catering Department to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Assist managers and clinical staff in effective service delivery, representing Speech Pathology at internal/external meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective departmental statistics.
  • Coordinate staff timetabling and act as the central point of contact for Speech Pathology services.
  • Maintain accurate records and allocate staff according to budgeted labour costs.
  • Ensure efficient completion of performance appraisals and mandatory training for speech pathology team members.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience or relevant senior role experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving capabilities, advanced time management skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
