Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver/Heavy Vehicle Operator to perform casual work, undertaking essential services throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate rear lift collection vehicles and deliver loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely deliveries and providing excellent service.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted HR Licence as a minimum; preferably with extensive driving experience.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and able to lift heavy objects when required.
  • Clean Driving record and a strong commitment to road safety.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a professional presentation and manner at all times.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a positive attitude towards continuous improvement.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with the ability to manage time effectively.
Benefits

This is a casual position with hours available Monday-Friday, with the requirement to be available for 3am starts. While previous waste industry experience is not essential, applicants with a background in this field may find it beneficial in terms of knowledge and understanding.
