Electrical Engineering Opportunities

SAGE Automation is a leading independent industrial automation and control systems integrator in Australia. A recognised leader in the design, delivery and support of industrial and electrical control solutions, our group brings best thinking to clients across infrastructure, transport, manufacturing, resources, Defence and utility sectors.

We currently have two opportunities for talented and enthusiastic engineers to join our team. You will have the opportunity to combine professional and technical learning, on-the-job training alongside ongoing mentoring whilst working on real-world, innovative projects. You will have the opportunity work on industrial automation projects from kick-off to hand over, including design documentation, PLC RTU and SCADA programming, factory acceptance testing, on-site commissioning and hand-over documentation.

  • Job Requirements:
  • Recent graduate of an electrical engineering degree or relevant engineering degree eligible for state-based engineering registration. Degree qualifications that heavily encompass control systems engineering will be individually assessed on their suitability for the role.
  • Demonstrate some knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems.
  • Understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
  • Have high computer competency, particularly with MS Office.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and resourceful with a great attitude.
  • Have a strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry.
