About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at YMCA Park Ridge Outside School Hours Care Service. As an Educator, you will be responsible for the care and education of primary school children before and after school, and during school holiday periods.
About the Service
Our service is located at Park Ridge State School and offers a wide range of fun and engaging programs that reflect real-world experiences and home settings. We prioritize community and belonging, children's agency, and the importance of spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the development and implementation of engaging and educational activities for primary school children
- Provide high-quality care and education to children before and after school, and during school holiday periods
- Work collaboratively with other Educators and staff to create a safe and inclusive environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge

What You'll Need
- A Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
- A commitment to working in a team environment and providing high-quality care and education to children
