About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Specialist to join our team at JJR Engineering, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies. As a CNC Machine Specialist, you will be responsible for operating laser machines and brake press machines, loading and unloading parts, and performing quality assurance checks to ensure the highest quality of parts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate laser machine and brake press machine to produce high-quality truck bodies
  2. Load and unload parts, including some heavy lifting
  3. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure parts meet quality standards
  4. Sort, organize, and store materials in a safe and efficient manner
  5. Identify and work with various metals, ensuring correct material usage
  6. Utilize CNC machine software to create cutting programs within company guidelines
  7. Create production documents and maintain accurate records
  8. Maintain machine efficiency and perform routine maintenance as per schedule
  9. Check and report any equipment faults and conduct basic troubleshooting
  10. Keep the workplace clean and tidy
About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience as a Laser/Plasma operator or Trades Assistant in a similar environment. You should have experience in a manufacturing environment, including use of hand tools and other auxiliary machinery. A forklift license is essential, and a DG High-Risk Work Licence is desirable. You should be physically fit and able to load and unload parts on and off the machines.
