About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Seasonal Casual Forklift Driver & Parcel Sorter. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing and delivery of mail and parcels across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
  • Sort parcels and mail using scanners, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Work across sophisticated processing equipment and lines, ensuring seamless operations
  • Operate and use load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers, collaborating with operations staff to get mail into the facility
Requirements
  • A valid LF Forklift License
  • Ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
  • Excellent memory and attention to detail
  • Safety-conscious and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices, including pallet jacks to load and unload parcels from trucks and vans
  • Comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products
