Software Engineer Role

This is a highly skilled software development position, with the primary focus on building scalable and efficient microservices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in C# and be able to design, develop, and maintain high-quality code.

Key responsibilities include creating new C# RESTful Web APIs and microservices, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing ones. Additionally, the individual will need to continuously add to the suite of unit, integration, and acceptance tests.

Essential Skills & Required Experience:
  • Proficiency in C# with IoC/DI
  • Experience with micro-services architecture
  • Strong understanding of unit testing and mocking frameworks (NUnit, Moq, NSubstitute)
  • Working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server 2012+, Oracle, Postgres)
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, MSMQ)
  • Distributed caching experience (Redis, Memcached, Couchbase)
  • ORM expertise (EF6, EF Core, NHibernate)
  • CI/CD - Continuous Delivery experience (Git, Jira, Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus)
  • Exposure to high-traffic/distributed software systems
  • Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization experience
  • Background in SOA design and maintenance
