Program Overview
The AIR6500 initiative represents a significant investment in developing a comprehensive air battle management system for the RAAF, enhancing capabilities through advanced sensor and command systems. This program aims to establish a fully integrated 'system of systems' that coordinates air and missile defense operations in joint and coalition settings, thereby improving situational awareness and accelerating decision-making processes in the operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
In the capacity of Lead Cybersecurity Architect, you will oversee the management of cybersecurity protocols, system architecture, development, design, testing, and integration. You will advocate for best practices that facilitate informed, risk-based decisions to uphold integrity, visibility, compliance, and resilience.

Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity and resilience within the defense sector, along with substantial experience in systems security engineering, including:
Practical experience and comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Government's security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process Extensive background in defining security services and design patterns, assisting development teams in their implementation Proven experience in conducting and leading cyber risk assessments Familiarity with cross-domain solutions and multi-level security architecturesSpecial Requirements:
Candidates must be Australian Citizens and possess a current or reinstatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
