Senior Fund Accountant

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join their fund administration department in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the work of Fund Accountants, both in-office and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify reporting in line with SLA targets, focusing on the generation of Unit Pricing Reports, Accounting Reports, Tax Reports, and resolving client and/or interdepartmental issues.
  • Ensure all functions are operating in an efficient and harmonious manner through significant inter-departmental contact.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • 4+ years' experience in senior roles within the fund accounting function, including proficiency in Unit Pricing, Tax Reporting, Valuation and Accounting, Distributions or Taxable Income Calculations, Tax Returns, and technical accounting ability.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and CA/CPA qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Previous exposure and experience with unit pricing and fund accounting systems, such as Hi-Portfolio, PControl, or Dimension, and proficiency in MS Suite, namely Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, as well as excellent communication skills to communicate and solve queries for fellow departments and clients.

Remuneration: circa $95k-$115k base + super and a discretionary bonus.
