Job Opportunity:

  • A permanent electrician position is available for project works at Kingsford Smith Airport in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will work on the fit-out of an 11kV substation including cabling, panel installation, HV equipment install and termination ensuring work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Trade-certified Electrician with proven experience on substation projects conducting high voltage and low voltage installations, fault finding and complex installation works
  • Able to read electrical schematics and have sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
  • Flexible attitude with excellent customer relations and time-keeping skills
  • Ability to work effectively unsupervised as well as within a team, with well-developed communication skills and a true commitment to safety
  • Hold a NSW Electrical Licence and an Industry White Card, LVR CPR, High Risk Licence with LF & WP and a current driver's licence are highly desirable
