About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis across customer contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse weekly/monthly P&Ls and bridge reports for customer contracts.
  • Cash Management: Manage revenue and cost recognition, general ledger journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Commercial and Operational stakeholders to understand financial drivers.
  • Project Support: Assist with capital project tracking, asset capitalisation, and purchase order processing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist with annual planning, reforecasting, and system/process improvements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting timetables.
About You
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or commerce.
  • Professional Certifications: CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in commercial finance, ideally in transport/logistics.
  • Skills: Strong financial reporting and budgeting skills, proficiency in SAP, TM1, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Aptitudes: Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure, effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail.
