Coating Craftsman

As a skilled coating craftsman, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality finishes to our clients.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying coats of paint to vehicles, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Mix and match colours for vehicles after preparation and scheduling for painting.
• Build and maintain a colour library.
• Prep, prime, and paint vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process.
• Buff and denib vehicles.
• Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
• Note any extra paint work required that is not quoted for.
• Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
• Clean work bay and workshop areas.
• Coach apprentices when required.

About You:

• Trade qualified Spray Painter with minimum 3 years experience.
• Strong commitment to working in a safe manner.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Own tools to fulfil the role.
