A leading business advisory firm, renowned for delivering exceptional services to clients across Australia, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Advisory team in Sydney. By joining the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Expert utilization of a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
  • Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist clients in monitoring performance.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and seeking to further these relationships through quality product delivery.
  • Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
  • Involving in team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years' experience within Business Services, with strong technical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar and working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications.
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools, e.g., Xero, QuickBooks.
  • Have work rights, Australian Citizenship, or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia.
