About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and clinical needs of our residents are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care to residents, respecting their individual needs, preferences, and choices.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote excellence in care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided.
- Provide education and support to residents, families, and carers to promote health and well-being.
Requirements:
- Nursing Registration with AHPRA is essential.
- 2+ years' nursing practice with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
- Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
- Experience with Autumn Care (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
- Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
- National Police Certificate; NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
