About the Position

The client is looking for an experienced Corporate Lawyer (4–6+ years PAE) to take a lead role within their Brisbane office. You'll join a team trusted to manage intricate transactions and legal matters, from mergers and acquisitions to corporate advisory, restructures, governance, and joint ventures.

This isn't just about doing the work – it's about driving outcomes that shape businesses. You'll engage directly with executives, boards, and founders, working closely on strategic matters and providing legal insight that guides long-term decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead corporate transactions across multiple industries.
  • Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to high-level clients.
  • Handle M&A, restructures, shareholder agreements, and governance issues.
  • Delve commercially driven outcomes that support long-term client goals.
  • Engage directly with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with interstate colleagues on multi-jurisdictional matters.
About You:

You should have 4–6+ years post-admission experience in corporate law. You should have experience advising corporate clients on significant transactions. You should have confidence in working independently and managing client relationships. You should have commercial acumen and the ability to advise on risk and opportunity. You should have drive to build your profile in the Brisbane legal and business market. You should have professional presence and relationship-building capability.
