As an Innovative Engineering Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping technical decisions for our Sonar OSS/BSS platforms in Engineering, driving new feature development and mentoring team members to enhance agile processes.

You will focus on refining engineering practices and providing technical guidance for key projects and initiatives, leading technical decisions across projects and overseeing solutioning, development, deployment, and support of our OSS/BSS platforms.

These platforms are integral to provisioning and managing our global voice/data network, specifically in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

  • A minimum of ten years of hands-on Java development experience.
  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent extensive practical experience.
  • Proven leadership in driving technical initiatives.
  • Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, message brokers including ActiveMQ and Kafka.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Commitment to enhancing engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with React JS, Golang, or Terraform is advantageous.
  • Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning, possessing a curious, tenacious, and creative mindset.

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 AUD per annum, commensurate with experience.
