**Job Description:**

This full-time position is available immediately for a Staff Specialist/Visiting Medical Officer Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. You will be working in a level 4 regional maternity service with a level 3 special care nursery. The successful applicant will have experience in all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology, with a demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and providing supervision and training to learners at all levels.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist, and/or overseas trained specialist via the appropriate International Medical Graduate pathway
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists
