Senior Executive - Naval Acquisition

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of naval acquisition programs and the sustainment of the fleet. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate and integrate shipbuilding matters within Defence, across Government and industry.

Main Responsibilities:

The role encompasses several key responsibilities, including:

  • Implementing the Government's Naval Shipbuilding Plan, leading a large and integrated workforce of over 2000 professionals.
  • Demonstrating strong leadership skills, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration and agility.
  • Managing complex legislative and ethical frameworks to achieve capability outcomes for Defence and the Australian Government.

Requirements:

Australian citizen with a proven track record in leadership and strategic thinking. Ability to manage relationships with critical stakeholders across all levels of government and industry. Positive Vetting security clearance required.
