Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide full personal care support to ensure the client's comfort, hygiene, and well-being at all times.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing 24/7 care for a male, bedbound client. This includes:

  • Manual handling and help with repositioning, turning, and ensuring the client's safety while in bed.
  • Assisting with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
  • Supporting with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Regularly monitoring the client's health, including vital signs and signs of discomfort, and reporting any changes to medical staff.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment within the client's home, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable living space.

Requirements

  • A high level of caregiving experience.
  • Availability across a 24/7 roster.
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability, or community care.
  • A qualification in Aged Care/Disability/Individual Support.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle would be beneficial.
  • A Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificates.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain one.
