**Job Title:** Food and Beverage Team Lead

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Lead to join our team at Mercure Perth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our food and beverage team during afternoon shifts, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless guest experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and supervise the food and beverage team during afternoon shifts, ensuring high standards of service and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Oversee the set-up, service, and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure menu knowledge is up-to-date, including changes and promotions, and communicate this effectively to the team.
  • Manage guest inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally, enhancing the overall guest experience.
  • Ensure the proper handling and settlement of customer accounts using our POS system.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the outlets.
  • Promote Mercure Perth by driving revenue and implementing strategies to improve service efficiency.
  • Work closely with other departments to coordinate events and special functions as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage operations.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work afternoon shifts and weekends is essential, as we operate 7 days a week.
