Warehouse Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee the efficient and safe operations of our Larapinta depot. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and drives performance, accuracy, and safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, stock handling, and dispatch to meet productivity targets. They will also maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage replenishment to minimize discrepancies and waste.

An essential aspect of this role is the implementation of efficient processes for inventory control, goods handling, and shipping operations. The candidate must also provide prompt resolution of customer queries and service excellence, as well as staffing level management, onboarding, and performance management of team members.

A key requirement of this position is timely and accurate reporting, as well as communication of operational insights or issues with internal stakeholders for improvement.

About You
  • Minimum three years' experience in warehousing or 3PL environments
  • Two or more years in a warehouse supervisory role
  • Hold a current Forklift license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse systems
  • Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead by example
