Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Arundel, Gold Coast. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Financial Lead & Accountant to ensure all management and financial reporting obligations are met.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) with flexible working hours from Monday to Friday. Our office is located in Arundel, Gold Coast, Queensland. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing around 50 claims within 10 days of the end of the month;
  • Assisting with journal preparation, cost allocation, and other ad-hoc month-end journals and cost transfers;
  • Raising purchase orders;
  • Managing invoice approval process and goods;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.;
  • A CA/CPA qualification or be working towards it;
  • SAP experience is a bonus, as well as PowerBI;
  • High attention to detail;
