Commercial Finance Director

This is a commercially-focused role that requires you to deliver growth through multi-channel financial services offerings. As the leader of the Commercial Finance and Data & Performance insights functions, you will be accountable for strategy development and execution.

The key responsibilities include leading the team to drive financial performance through ad-hoc financial analysis, driving enriched and improved data/KPI reporting, analytics & insights, and owning the full P&L, capex & key metrics.

You will also be responsible for reviewing and providing guidance around business cases for new products & initiatives, supporting the Corporate Development team on potential opportunities, and providing ad-hoc financial analysis, insights and scenarios.

Additionally, you will need to proactively identify industry & competitor trends to identify implications and opportunities, manage finance month-end, forecast & budget processes, and help drive the finance improvement agenda.

Your skills and experience should include being CA / CPA qualified, with previous exposure to a high-performing financial services or mortgage broking environment.

You should have excellent commercial skills and experience, strong influencing ability, and outstanding written, verbal and presenting skills.

A natural leader with experience of managing and developing finance teams is required, as you will be leading a high-performing team of 10+ to deliver excellent commercial outcomes.
