Occupational Therapist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior clinician position in a dynamic recovery-focused team.

About the Position

The Senior Occupational Therapist will lead and guide our occupational therapy team, delivering high-level interventions for clients and participating in guiding the organisation in delivering occupational and diversional interventions within an integrated care model between inpatient and community services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the occupational therapy team members
  • Deliver advanced level interventions for clients with mental health conditions
  • Support an integrated care model between hospital and community settings
  • Contribute to organisational development of occupational and diversional therapies

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold current general registration with qualifications recognised by AHPRA
  • Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in Mental Health Occupational Therapy
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply advanced reasoning skills
