The Team
Our Insurance & Health team is led by 32 industry-leading principals across six states. This team has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality advice and exceptional client service in the insurance space. We handle claims across all major classes of insurance and act for prominent names in the insurance industry, both locally and globally.
The Role
This Senior Associate / Special Counsel opportunity will involve defending a variety of claims brought against directors, officers, and companies, as well as professionals in the construction, financial services, property, and allied health industries. The role includes litigating liability claims involving non-personal injury cases.
Key Skills
- Previous experience in defendant insurance litigation
- Strong commercial litigation background with a desire to pursue defendant insurance work
- Personal injury litigation experience with a willingness to explore liability claims involving professionals and property damage
- Ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional client service
- Effective communication skills
- Capacity and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners
- Collaborative and pragmatic approach
