About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Bodington Dr, Wentworth Falls NSW 2782, Australia. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements
  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
