
Quality Management Specialist

At the heart of our organization, we have a vital role available for an experienced Quality Management Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with leadership to ensure the ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of our Quality Management System.
This involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality directives, policies, plans, processes, and local work instructions. It also requires tracking, monitoring, and measuring the health and performance of our local quality management system and driving remediation response to any lagging or negative leading indicators.
The Quality Management Specialist will lead and/or coordinate investigations and associated root cause analysis activities to identify corrective and preventative actions. They will assure that first-time quality imperatives can continue to be met.
Requirements for this role include completed ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training by a recognized training organization or a willingness to achieve it as part of an upskilling plan. The ideal candidate must also possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to effectively engage, communicate with, and influence key stakeholders, and Australian Citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.

- Coordinate and collaborate with Program and Functional leadership to ensure ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality Management System.
