Release Management Professional

The successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining release management processes within an enterprise business system context. Key responsibilities include developing and managing release schedules, coordinating production of release documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant ICT change processes.

  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Release Management professional to lead the development and implementation of release management processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing releases and delivering systems based on contemporary platforms and architectures.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain release schedules, balancing technical dependencies and business requirements, compliance, and other priorities.
  • Coordinate the production of release, deployment, run books, and implementation plans.
  • Drive regular OCIO release management forums using OCIO's work management tool set as the primary point of reference.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in establishing and managing release management processes in an enterprise business system context.
  • Enterprise-level experience in managing releases and delivering systems based on contemporary platforms and architectures.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications; and an industry-recognized qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management; or SAFe Agile.
