Senior Electrical Design Engineer, APAC Data Center Design Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the APAC region. As a key member of our Data Center Design Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the electrical design of our data centers across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead data center electrical designs in collaboration with other disciplines to create a coordinated construction document set.
- Participate in site selection reviews and critical data center equipment design, including site-wide MV infrastructure, generators, UPS, switchgear, transformers, and earthing.
- Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify the appropriate electrical equipment and with local utilities to understand and define site utility requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IEC requirements, APAC-wide design codes, and other jurisdictional requirements.
- Review and approval of equipment submittals, define project scope, and provide technical support for information requests prior to and during construction phases.
- Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
- Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions and travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers.

- Degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in mission-critical electrical design.
- Comprehensive understanding of various code requirements across the APAC region.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and high-quality standards.
- Cross-discipline design coordination experience and Chartered Engineer or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to carry new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/construction.
