Financial Institutions Underwriter

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) is expanding its team in Sydney, and we are seeking an experienced Financial Institutions Underwriter to join our Executive & Professional lines.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of financial lines underwriting experience, solid underwriting fundamentals, and a strong understanding of financial analysis and markets.
As a Financial Institutions Underwriter, you will be responsible for managing and building upon a book of business consistent with the team's strategic focus. You will develop and build a profitable book of financial lines business, establish and expand broker and customer relationships, and underwrite assigned accounts while ensuring appropriate analysis and documentation.

Average salary for this position in Sydney: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
