As a Phlebotomy Specialist with Healius, you will play a crucial role in collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients, delivering exceptional customer service and quality healthcare.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention.
  • Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample is essential.
  • You will deliver documentation within strict turnaround times.
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing are key responsibilities.
  • Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers is an important part of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You should have transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy, are required.
  • You must be organised, with strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic.
  • Hold a valid Driver's license and have flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
  • Hold a Working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.
