Education Professional Position

We are seeking a qualified individual to conduct tutoring sessions for students in a supportive environment.

  • This role involves assessing students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Primary or Secondary Education, or be currently studying Education in University. They should also possess familiarity with the current Australian curriculum, relevant certifications such as Blue Card and Yellow Card, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, ensure compliance with child safety regulations, and provide specialized support and strategies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or those in placement/care.

Responsibilities
  • Tutoring sessions both online and in-person, accommodating the preferences and requirements of students and families.
  • Regularly assess students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents or caregivers.
  • Offer specialized support and strategies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or those in placement/care, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, ensure compliance with child safety regulations, and possess relevant certifications such as Blue Card and Yellow Card.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Primary or Secondary Education or Currently a student studying Education in University
  • Familiarity with the current Australian curriculum
  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check - in your state)
  • Yellow Card (NDIS Disability Worker Screening)
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in a variety of tutoring mediums and techniques
