About the Role

Murdoch University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join our School of Veterinary Medicine as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Diagnostic Imaging. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of our university, while also advancing your own career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and coordinate undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Supervise and mentor students in research projects and academic programs
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication, to maintain and enhance expertise in the field
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and professional development
Requirements
  • Veterinary degree registrable by the Veterinary Practise Board of Western Australia, and board certification in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI/ACVR/FANZCVS)
  • Extensive experience in teaching Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging at the undergraduate and postgraduate level
  • Demonstrated recent experience in applied clinical and didactic teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
