**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Organisational Change Expert to join our team at the University of South Australia. As a key member of our HR Business Partners team, you will play a critical role in supporting the transition to the new Adelaide University structure.

**The Role**

The successful candidate will work closely with academic and professional units across both universities to ensure a coordinated and collaborative transition. Your expertise in organisational change, combined with your strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, will enable you to address staff concerns, foster a commitment to shared goals, and create a smooth transition process that supports employee engagement and operational continuity.

**Key Responsibilities**

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with leaders and staff to align teams with the new workforce structure
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING PRODUCTIVE RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS DEPARTMENTS
  • Providing tailored support to teams addressing specific needs and challenges
  • Conducting workforce modelling and team design, developing organisational charts that reflect the new structure with clarity and alignment to strategic goals
  • Overseeing the development and evaluation of position descriptions, coordinating remuneration adjustments, and managing employment contracts for transitioning staff

**What We Are Looking For**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Workforce Planning, or a similar field
  • Experience in supporting workforce transitions and organisational change
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and use data effectively
  • High-level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships
  • Highly developed organisational and project management skills and experience in managing multiple priorities, projects and resources within tight timelines

**Estimated Salary:** $96,696 - $108,351 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

**Multiple full-time fixed term contracts until 31 December 2025
